DRIVER EDUCATION AGREEMENT

CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION: DMV requires students to attend the 5-hour pre-licensing class before qualifying for a road test. Students must
already have a permit to sign up and attend the class. Students cannot arrive late or leave early per DMV guidelines. After class/lesson,
students must be picked-up on time since instructors may have another appointment afterwards. The pre-licensing class is charged separately
from driving lessons.
The cost of the pre-licensing class is $50.00

DRIVING LESSONS: DURATION Driving lessons are 45-min long. Students may book two lessons (90-min) back-to-back when available. NO-
SHOW FEE If the student cannot make it to a driving lesson (regardless of the reason), arrives 10+min late, does not have a valid permit/license, a no-show fee is accessed ($40/lesson) to cover instructor’s time. FEE WAIVER The fee is waived if the cancellation is made 24hrs+ prior to the lesson. To cancel or reschedule a lesson, students must use the reschedule/cancel button on the confirmation email for the lesson or speak with someone in the office. A voice/text message or email does not constitute as notice of cancellation. STARTING THE LESSON If you have a driving hour and the office is closed, please wait with a parent for the instructor to return at your scheduled time. Instructors are booked onback-to-back basis and will return for your appointment. If you leave, you will be charged a no-show fee. Driving lessons start at our office unless otherwise agreed with the office in writing. INSTRUCTOR DELAYS Although we strive to be on-time for every appointment, unforeseeable circumstances may delay the start of a lesson (e.g. traffic). When an instructor is late, the time will be added to the end of the lesson or a future lesson. PICK-UP /DROP-OFF at different locations can be scheduled for double lessons when the schedule allows. For a 45min lesson, a separate pick-up/drop-off fee applies. OBSERVATION Another instructor, staff member or student may be in the car observing.
The cost per 45-min lesson is $50.00. The number of lessons purchased, if any, is listed on your receipt.

ROAD TEST AT THE DMV: Students are responsible to verify their test date/time, eligibility, and own documents and class certificate. The required documents are the learner's permit, the certificate from the driving school showing that the student has completed the 5hr pre-licensing class. If the student is under 18 years old, a form MV-262 must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Make sure you know where you are meeting our instructor and arrive at least an hour before your test to avoid delays. A 24hr notice applies to cancel road test appointments, The cost of the road test appointment and car rental is $130.00 or more depending on the test location. If the road test car rental is included in your recept,  it will be for the DMV test location closest to our school. There is an additional fee if you book your road test further away.

PROGRAM COMPLETION & CERTIFICATE: Students cannot register for classes and lessons without providing a copy of the learner’s permit and a full payment. Upon completion of the class, students will be issued a certificate. If we are missing any information or payment, your
certificate will not be ready. Please contact the office to provide the information or submit payment before the class. Without this certificate,
you will not be able to take the road test. Therefore, it is important that you keep it in a safe place. There is a fee to re-issue a certificate in
case the original has been lost.
